We celebrated a momentous occasion at Rangpo, Sikkim, as we welcomed back our brilliant champions, Radhika Chettri and Krishna Kumari Mukhia Sunwar, who brought home Silver and Bronze medals from the India Skills Competition.
MSU became the youngest university to secure medals at the competition. Additionally, it was the first time Sikkim participated and bagged medals at the national competition.
The celebration began with a warm welcome from MSU staff and students, followed by an emotional felicitation ceremony. Proud family members and the University Management honored Radhika and Krishna for their exceptional achievements.
Mr. Rishi Thapa, Assistant Registrar at MSU, emphasized the significance of the event for both the youth and the University, highlighting how their triumphs set a shining example for others.
Mr. Bharat Bhushan, Assistant Dean, provided valuable insights into the rigorous selection process of the competition, giving everyone an understanding of the hard work that led to their success.

The celebrations concluded with a cake-cutting ceremony organized by the Hospitality & Hotel Management department, followed by tea and snacks, creating a festive atmosphere. This event was a proud moment for Sikkim, as we celebrated the incredible accomplishments of Radhika and Krishna.
